I can do ALL things....

The kids were all smiles in this picture, but the day did not end up with smiles. Yesterday prooved to be a challenge. It was our first day of school. I THOUGHT I was ready. I mean the kids are in first and second grade, how hard can this be? RIGHT!!!!!! WRONG!!!! I was not ready, I was feeling overwhelemed and discouraged. Things fell apart. The kids were all crying over something they didn't want to do. I heard, " I can't do this!" too many times. Then as the day progressed, I was thinking or uhh crying, " I can't do this!"

That was our first day of school. I did NOT go as planned. It was not a smooth easy, fun day. It was difficult and challenging. So I move forward, I regroup, and I am reminded of what Phil 4:13 says, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

  1. sorry your first day of school was so difficult, i admire your perseverance. but - i want to thank you for posting this pic of the it!! can't wait to see all your bright, shiny faces the next two weekends!!!

  2. Bless your heart I am sorry you had a bad day. As the Mom it is so heartbreaking when you are so excited about something and the kids just don't behave how you envisioned.
It gets better, hang in there.

  3. My heart goes out to you! I don't homeschool - but I have had horrible Mommy days, when I wonder if "I can do" it like it needs to be done!!!

You're tapping into the right source - "through Christ"!

I'm praying that your second day goes much much better!

Psalm 16 - with your God ever before you - you cannot be shaken!!!

I'm here from iFellowship - only just a day late!

Praying that you see success this week!
